Divorce

Divorce is a very important matter in Islam so that the Quran has an article (sura) named Al Talaaq meaning the divorce. This sura details all the right and obligations involved within the divorce proceeding. In brief, according to the Noble Qur'an: "And for divorced women, maintenance (should be provided) on reasonable (scale). This is a duty on the pious. (2:241)
